Richland Creek Clean Up

Richland Creek Clean Up
with Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association
Saturday, October 17, 2026
10:00 AM – Noon CST
This event is made possible through generous support from the
Garden Club of Nashville.
Join Harpeth Conservancy and Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association for a walking cleanup along the Richland Creek Greenway at the Lion’s Head Trail Head! By removing litter and debris from riparian areas and streams, we’ll help restore streamside habitats for Tennessee’s wildlife while safeguarding water quality.
Together, we’ll collect trash and debris while learning more about how each of us can become lifelong clean water advocates and river stewards.
All cleanup supplies and equipment will be provided. Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants, and weather-appropriate clothing. Be sure to bring your own water, snacks, and any medications you may need.
Thank you for helping protect clean water and healthy rivers across Tennessee!
Accessibility: To access the area, there is a .5 mile walk one-way along a paved greenway. To access the plants, you may need to overcome small limbs and branches on the ground. Reaching, bending, and lifting up to 10 lbs. is to be expected for this event.
