Dinner IN the Creek
Harpeth Conservancy is excited to host our third Dinner IN the Creek on Tuesday, June 13th at 6pm. The event is limited to 64 guests on a first come, first served basis. This year, we will feature a new location along Leiper’s Creek, about 7 miles south of downtown Leiper’s Fork. The creek is about ankle deep, runs along a gorgeous mossy hillside sprinkled with small waterfalls that are just a short walk from our dinner table IN the creek.
Registrants will be greeted in a refurbished 1800’s schoolhouse where they can grab a glass of bubbles and meander to the creek. Hors d’oeuvres will be passed during cocktail hour while guests cross the creek to get their beverages, including the option of a specialty drink that will be served cocktail or mocktail style. Friends can gather in the creek, wander down the creek bed, or mingle with each other around cocktail tables in the creek or on vintage couches and conversation groupings.
The evening includes a farm fresh seated dinner by BAMFoods Catering from Columbia, TN, featuring locally sourced produce and meats. Musical guests include Americana duo Carolina Story comprised of Kingston Springs locals Emily and Ben Roberts (the family also runs Harpeth Moon Farm). It will be a magical evening dining al fresco to benefit the rivers, creeks and clean water in Tennessee.
