ABOUT: This event is part of this year’s Weed Wrangle®, a one-day, area-wide, volunteer effort to help rescue our public parks and green spaces from non-native invasive species through hands-on removal of especially harmful trees, vines, and flowering plants. Together we can give native trees and plants a better chance of survival, stabilize the streambank, and improve wildlife habitat.

This is an herbicide FREE event. Hand tools and light refreshments will be provided. Work gloves will be available for those who need them. No experience is necessary. All ages are welcome. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please plan to support our efforts to keep everyone safe and healthy while working in our watershed by following current COVID-19 guidelines.

In partnership with LL Burns Park, Weed Wrangle, and The Garden Club of Nashville, with support from TVA. Open to the public. Free to attend.
