Richland Creek Watershed Alliance will be at the Richland Park Farmer’s Market on Saturday, June 27 from 10 am-noon giving away our#grabthelitterbags. Come learn about how you can Grab the Litter in your neighborhoods to prevent it from washing into our streams, creeks, and rivers! Litter is one of the most critical issues for urban waterways, as everything that that is dripped, dropped, or spilled on the pavement is washed through the storm sewer system into the waterways.
Each person who follows us on social media and signs up for our E-News will get a FREE,reusable and non-plastic #grabthelitter bag (while supplies last) to take home and reuse many times so they can make a lasting collective impact on our waterways.
COVID-19 has delayed this event, and we will be instigating COVID-19 safety protocols. The Richland Park Farmer’s Market requires all visitors and vendors to wear face coverings, and is enforcing social distancing. We will be wearing masks and gloves, maintaining social distancing,sanitizing our area (including all writing utensils between sign-ups), and providing hand sanitizer. Stop by Richland Park any time between 10:00 am-12:00 pm, grab a bag and enjoy the market! We look forward to (safely!) seeing you there!
