ABOUT: Restoration work at Warner Parks contributes to watershed health! The Little Harpeth River and several tributaries flow through the parks, so continued attention to environmental health at the parks goes a long way in protecting clean water and healthy river ecosystems. We’ll focus our efforts on eradicating invasive plant species along a creek in the Beech Grove Picnic Area at Percy Warner Park. So far, the folks at Friends of Warner Parks have stewarded the removal of invasive plants from over 680 acres of forested park lands and there is still much ground to cover!

This is an herbicide FREE event. Hand tools and light refreshments will be provided. Work gloves will be available for those who need them. No experience is necessary. All ages are welcome. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please plan to support our efforts to keep everyone safe and healthy while working in our watershed by following current COVID-19 guidelines.

In partnership with Friends of Warner Parks and Invasive Plant Control, Inc. Open to the public. Free to attend.
