Event: Family Plant Walk and Scavenger Hunt @ Harpeth River State Park: Gossett Tract, with Patagonia Nashville

Address: 1230 Cedar Hill Rd, Kingston Springs, TN 37082

Date: Saturday September 24th, 1:00 – 2:30pm

Ever wonder about the plants growing all around? What are their names? Can you eat them? Join us for a walk down the trail to learn about the plants growing this time of year. We’ll identify edible and medicinal plants, learn some fun facts (do you know which butterfly relies on milkweed)?, and spend some quality time outside. Harpeth Conservancy and Nashville Nature Explorers will be talking about what they do and ways to engage in protecting clean water and healthy river ecosystems.

This is open invite, please try to get to the park by 1:00pm so we can start the walk in a timely manner.

RSVP not required, but recommended!

*Complete your scavenger hunt board, and visit Patagonia Nashville to receive a free Nashville Patagonia Patch and Bandana!*
