ABOUT: Our Lessons on the River workshops are all-ages, hands-on opportunities to learn about the issues impacting our waterways and gain skills to engage our mission to protect clean water! On May 20th, we’ll learn how to assess the health of a stream habitat (from identifying vegetation, water quality, and how pollution impacts our waterways) and determine the next steps for stewarding our threatened waterways. We’ll also remove trash and debris as we walk along the creek.
This event is free and open to the public. In partnership with Tennessee Environmental Council with funding support from the Barbara J. Mapp Foundation.
