Join Ranger Bill Morton to explore the Narrows of the Harpeth at Harpeth River State Park! This moderate 1 ½ mile guided hike will take you through the upper banks of the Harpeth River to a 300-foot, hand carved tunnel. You will learn about Montgomery Bell’s unique and colored history, as well as the creation of this engineering marvel! There will be an option to take an additional strenuous hike to the top of the Bluff Trail to see breathtaking views of the Harpeth Valley below.  Please wear suitable shoes for rocky terrain.

This FREE outdoor guided hike will take place at Harpeth River State Park’s Narrows of the Harpeth starting at 10:00 AM CST on Sunday, December 6th.

We will adhere to COVID guidelines and ask folks to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
