Help us protect the headwaters of the Harpeth River by joining us to plant native perennials and shrubs on Tuesday June 22nd from 11:30-3:00!
Protecting the vitality of the river starts at the headwaters. As the river flows downstream it can carry both nutrients and contaminants. Having a healthy waterway upstream helps reduce the adverse effects of harmful contaminants and protects the overall health of the entire river. Help keep your waterway clean and join us for this event. The health of the Harpeth River where you live is dependent upon the health of the headwaters.
What will you be doing:
Planting native perennials and shrubs
Stabilizing the streambank with river rock
