We’ll rent kayaks or canoes and launch off from Higher Pursuits in Columbia (for $5 off rental and reservation info\, see below). As we float\, we’ll make a few stops to learn about the freshwater mussel species that call the Duck home\, many of which are federally listed as threatened or endangered and several occur nowhere else on earth.
