DESCRIPTION:Urban Water Cycle Tour\nInside Nashville’s Water Infrastructure\nwith Metro Water Services\nSaturday\, November 7\, 2026\n10:00 AM – 2:00 PM CST \n\nRegister Now\n \n\n \n\n \n\n\nJoin Harpeth Conservancy and Metro Water Services (MWS) for a behind-the-scenes look at Nashville’s urban water cycle with an exclusive tour of MWS’ Whites Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant and Stormwater Campus. \nWe’ll begin with a guided walking tour of the wastewater treatment plant to learn how wastewater from homes and businesses is cleaned and safely returned to the Cumberland River. Then\, we’ll visit the Stormwater Campus to explore how MWS manages stormwater\, reduces flooding\, protects water quality\, and maintains the infrastructure that keeps Nashville flowing. \nPart of Harpeth Conservancy’s Water Cycle Education Series\, this tour offers a rare opportunity to see the systems that keep Nashville’s water clean—from the moment it goes down the drain and when rain falls on our streets to the moment clean water returns to our rivers. \nMUST KNOW INFO: \nRegistration is REQUIRED. DESCRIPTION:Richland Creek Clean Up\nSaturday\, November 21\, 2026\n10:00 AM – Noon CST \n\nRegister Now\n \n\n \n\n\n\n \nThis event is made possible through generous support from the\nGarden Club of Nashville. \n\n\nJoin Harpeth Conservancy for a walking cleanup along the Richland Creek Greenway at the Lion’s Head Trail Head! By removing litter and debris from riparian areas and streams\, we’ll help restore streamside habitats for Tennessee’s wildlife while safeguarding water quality. \nTogether\, we’ll collect trash and debris while learning more about how each of us can become lifelong clean water advocates and river stewards. \nAll cleanup supplies and equipment will be provided. Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes\, long pants\, and weather-appropriate clothing. Be sure to bring your own water\, snacks\, and any medications you may need. \nThank you for helping protect clean water and healthy rivers across Tennessee! \nAccessibility: To access the area\, there is a .5 mile walk one-way along a paved greenway. To access the plants\, you may need to overcome small limbs and branches on the ground. Reaching\, bending\, and lifting up to 10 lbs. is to be expected for this event.
