DESCRIPTION:Down the Duck River Float \nSaturday\, May 3 – 9am-noon \n(Rain Date is May 24) \nJoin us for an informative and relaxing float down the most aquatically biodiverse river in North America – the Duck River! We’ll rent kayaks or canoes and launch off from Higher Pursuits in Columbia (for $5 off rental and reservation info\, see below). As we float\, we’ll make a few stops to learn about the freshwater mussel species that call the Duck home\, many of which are federally listed as threatened or endangered and several occur nowhere else on earth.
