DESCRIPTION:Join us on Monday night for an informal letter writing session via Zoom. We’ll provide talking points and templates. As folks are typing or writing letters to their legislators\, we’ll also workshop ways to add personal touches to your letter or email to make it stand out.\n \nWhy?! We need your help to protect wetlands in Tennessee! If currently proposed legislation passes in the TN General Assembly\, then our state will lose protections for over 300\,000 acres of wetlands. Our wetlands provide essential ecosystem services (for free!) that protect our communities from experiencing negative impacts from pollution and flooding. Wetlands also provide critical habitat for wildlife and recharge our waterways providing drinking water for our communities. Protecting our wetlands is a must!
