ABOUT: Restoration work at this location contributes to watershed health! The Little Harpeth River and several tributaries flow through the parks, so continued attention to environmental health at the parks goes a long way in protecting clean water and healthy river ecosystems.
The project for the day will consist of a combination of litter clean-up in and along Vaughn’s Creek as well as invasive plant removal, possible tree planting, and general beautification of the Sycamore Grove picnic area in Percy Warner Park. This location is only a short hike from the field station.
In partnership with Friends of Warner Parks and Nashville Nature Explorers. Open to the public. Free to attend.
