A hands-on, outdoor activity for the entire family!
Join Harpeth Conservancy Staff and State Park Ranger Lisa Housholder to learn more about how invasive species can be harmful to water quality and aquatic life.
Hand tools, gloves, masks, and hand sanitizers will be provided. We ask that participants help our staff help everyone practice COVID safety protocols during this activity. Participants can bring their own tree loppers, bow saw, and/or hand pruning saw. No power tools allowed.
Registrants are asked to complete an online waiver and children ages 12 and older must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Parking is located on site at Gossett Tract River Access, 1230 Cedar Hill Rd, Kingston Springs, TN.
Participants can also enjoy hiking the adjoining one mile trail that circles a wildflower meadow and another one mile trail that winds along the river providing a glimpse of Mound Bottom Archeological Site.
