ABOUT: Restoration work at Warner Parks contributes to watershed health! The Little Harpeth River and several tributaries flow through the parks, so continued attention to environmental health at the parks goes a long way in protecting clean water and healthy river ecosystems. We’ll focus our efforts on clearing the invasive plants that are choking out the edge of a drainage that leads into the Little Harpeth. This area bisects the recently “depaved” sections; focusing here should provide an immediate visual impact to complement the recent planting of larger trees in these areas. We’ll also plant native bare-root trees to help stabilize the streambank and improve wildlife habitat.

This is an herbicide FREE event. Hand tools and light refreshments will be provided. Work gloves will be available for those who need them. No experience is necessary. All ages are welcome. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please plan to support our efforts to keep everyone safe and healthy while working in our watershed by following current COVID-19 guidelines.

In partnership with Friends of Warner Parks. Open to the public. Free to attend.
